This section houses African elephants, baboons, African lions and domestic goats It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The zoo is operated by Monroe County with support from the Seneca Park Zoo Society and originally opened in 1894. This 90 minute walking tour, led by a zoo docent, will take you through the exhibits. You'll meet the animals and learn about conservation efforts in our area and beyond. Feel free to stay after the tour to continue to explore, have lunch and relax amongst the animals!
