This class will help you relieve tension and boost energy. Participants must be comfortable getting down to and up from the floor. Mats are needed. This class is recommended for students who want a more challenging workout. (Pilates is NOT recommended for those with osteoporosis).  Class is taught via Zoom-You must have a computer/tablet/phone with audio and video capability.

    We welcome all Oasis members who enjoy singing, and those who think they might, to give us a try. There are no auditions and newcomers are always welcome. The chorus learns to sing in harmony to favorites and popular Broadway tunes to new contemporary songs. Usually twice per session (participation optional) the chorus performs for residents at a nearby nursing home, hospital, or senior facility. Music truly does lift the spirit and feed the soul.  Music pick up is scheduled for Tuesday, December 29th from 10a-10:30a.  This class is held via Zoom.  You must have access to a smart phone, tablet or computer with audio and video capability.

    This class is an energetic but doable, low-impact cardio and weight-training fitness workout designed not only to be safe for participants with bone density concerns, but infused with a variety of exercises to help increase bone density. Most of the weight-bearing, cardiovascular workout will be done standing.  Dumbbells and fitness bands will be utilized for the strength exercises. Though not required, this program is safe for those with osteoporosis.  Expect education for proper form in every class.  Buff Bones® is a medically-endorsed, full body workout that only licensed instructors can provide.  Always consult your physician before starting any new exercise program.  Participants must be able to stand on both feet and get up from the floor without assistance.  Allow enough space for your mat and space around it to move (approximately 5 feet total on either side). Please be near a wall (or stable surface) to use for some exercises and also for your safety with balance activities.  Please have a mat, small towel, small hand weights and a bottle of water ready for use. Prerequisite:  Buff Bones Level 1 Introductory class series or any ongoing exercise program.  Must have a computer/laptop, tablet or phone with sound and camera access.
