The class has two instructors to accommodate both right-handed and left-handed students. The instructors will explain how to make the ribbing for the cuff of the mitten, how to form the thumb, and how to shape the mitten using increasing and decreasing. Participants will be given a basic pattern that mainly uses the single crochet stitch and takes less than one skein of yarn.
