    This class is an open level, welcoming all dancers.  Class will consist of a warm-up/ stretching period, movements across the floor, focusing on basic jazz terminology, and choreography of the given season or time.  Dancers will learn some classic choreography, such as Fosse, Robbins, and Blankenbuehler, but also original choreography for different chosen holidays, artists and themes.  Jazz shoes, ballet shoes, sneakers, or non slip socks are required.

Zoo exhibits include Rocky Coasts, dedicated to animals of the polar and temperate coastal regions of the world, including African penguins, California sea lions, polar bears, snowy owls, Canada lynx, and sandhill cranes and A Step into Africa,...

    Seneca Park Zoo is home to over 90 species including mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish, and arachnids. Zoo exhibits include Rocky Coasts, dedicated to animals of the polar and temperate coastal regions of the world, including African penguins, California sea lions, polar bears, snowy owls, Canada lynx, and sandhill cranes and A Step into Africa, which was designed to replicate a portion of the NgoroNgoro Crater in Tanzania.  This section houses African elephants, baboons, African lions and domestic goats  It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The zoo is operated by Monroe County with support from the Seneca Park Zoo Society and originally opened in 1894.  This 90 minute walking tour, led by a zoo docent, will take you through the exhibits.  You'll meet the animals and learn about conservation efforts in our area and beyond.  Feel free to stay after the tour to continue to explore, have lunch and relax amongst the animals!  RSVP by 9/2 at noon.
