Description

Germany and Austria are large wine-producing countries.  Many of these wines are available within the United States and they have a wide range of styles, suitable for many types of occasions and food pairings.  In this class, we will take a brief tour of German and Austrian wines as an overview of the markedly divergent types.  We will discuss and taste 5 wines and suggest suitable food pairings, along with a discussion of wine making processes, and the effects of climate and geology from the region. Registration deadline is 3/27/24 at noon.
