Qigong is an energy healing practice from traditional Chinese medicine developed more than 5,000 years ago. The term Qi means energy that flows through the entire person – body, mind and spirit. Its gentle movements stretch and strengthen muscles, improve balance and flexibility, and reduces inflammation in joints. This movement helps to improve the circulation of blood and oxygen throughout the body and helps to release toxins and emotions. The session will include slow, controlled, gentle movements that are easy to learn with emphasis on awareness and deep breathing. There will be about fifteen minutes of silence at the end of every session.  This class is presented via Zoom-you must have a computer/tablet/phone with video and audio capability.
