Description
This course will examine the great baseball decade of the 1950's: post WWII faded and emerging stars, the influence of black and Latino players, two pieces of the Yankee dynasty, and the stirrings of change. A season by season chronology will be peppered with anecdotes, facts, and trivia from participants and the manager. Jim Kraus is a retired teacher who saw his first MLB game at Yankee Stadium in 1959 and 40th MLB park in September 2025.
