Description
Participants will use class time to make a hat using the pattern that will be handed out on the first day of class. This versatile pattern can be masculine or feminine depending on the colors you choose. The pattern lends itself easily to using two colors, so you can create a hat using the two colors of a high school, college, or favorite sports team. The class has two instructors to accommodate both right-handed and left-handed students. The instructors will review double crochet and how to change colors of yarn on the first class. During the second class, the instructors will introduce the front post double crochet and the back post double crochet. Please note that the class requires additional time spent at home as well. *This is an intermediate class, so students should know basic crochet stitches (chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet) and have pattern reading skills. The material list will be emailed before the start of the class.
