Collage derives its name from the French verb coller, to glue. The work of art is made by gluing things to the surface. Pasting, ripping, and cutting fragments of paper or any other materials of choice can be quite intoxicating for the artist.. We will discuss composition, rules and freedoms and create beautiful farmable work. We will dye our own papers, search for “found paper” in magazines, books and other opportunities.
