Description

Try out a sample of our new winter classes, Yoga  and Stretch and Strength with Betsy Feldman.  Betsy will highlight both classes during this free one hour class.  Please bring a yoga mat

Stretch and Strengthen:  This class focuses an improving muscle strength, range of motion, balance and stamina with exercises suitable for all fitness levels. Class can be taken either seated or standing.

Yoga:  All classes are based on Hatha Yoga, which is the branch of yoga that focuses on physical techniques and breathing. Each class includes yoga based poses and stretches to improve strength, flexibility and balance. Classes are conducted mainly with participants in chairs, combined with some standing. Later sessions may include more standing postures and mat work where appropriate. All participants are encouraged to modify any exercise to meet their individual needs and level of fitness. It is my priority that each session provides a comfortable, supportive environment and feeling of acceptance for every participant.
