Description
The Lost King Richard III was king of England for a little over two years. He was the last king of the Plantagenet dynasty, and the branch known as the House of York. His defeat and death at the Battle of Bosworth Field marked the end of the Middle Ages in England. The last time, an English king took the field to defend his throne. Mostly remembered as an evil character from the famous play of the same name, he also invented the phrase, “innocent until proven guilty.” His body… long missing… was only found in 2012… in a parking lot.
