Throughout the list of critical issues, we’re seeing the overarching theme of a divided nation, offered up with the compelling imagery of some of our most eloquent social critics, political cartoonists. We’ll look at a variety of opinions on these issues. As cartoonist Signe Wilkinson (Philadelphia Daily News) says, “Let the controversies be the beginning of conversations, not the end.”
