Most poetry is meant to be read aloud; some is meant to be performed. Come listen to American poetry read aloud including: Walt Whitman, Robert Frost, E.E. Cummings, Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, Scott Momaday, Joy Harjo, Vachel Lindsey and everyone’s favorite beat poet, Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Copies of the poems will be provided.
