Description

Cassatt and Morisot shared many subjects with the male Impressionists with whom they showed, but as middle-class women they were restricted in what they could paint. This three-session class will look at ways in which their careers reflect the realities of women’s lives in France in the 19th century and how they developed their highly indivdual styles.  Class is given via Zoom. You must have a computer/tablet/phone with audio and video capability.
