If you are familiar with watercolor, basic techniques and skills, this workshop will inspire you to go further. You will learn wonderful techniques to work with watercolors and create whimsical paintings including botanicals. We will refresh your use with studio basics for watercolors and move on with planning out and exploring botanicals. The workshop will provide tips to choose the right material, colors, and texture for whimsical and creative painting. The practice will give you a deeper understanding. Class is given via Zoom. You must have a computer/tablet/phone with audio and video capability. Materials needed: watercolors, watercolor paper (cold pressed 140lb weight preferred), brushes, two containers of water, a pencil, floral references (photographs, digital print outs, or even a seed catalog!), paper towels or clean absorbent rags.
