Nia is a whole-body approach to fitness that encompasses the dance arts, the martial arts, and the healing arts. Through expressive movement and music, Nia invites you to achieve physical, mental, and spiritual fitness and well-being. Nia is adaptable to every level of fitness, every age and type of body, even those with special limitations. Nia will lubricate your joints, release your tension, enhance your balance, and tone your muscles with pleasure, mindful awareness, and joyful spirit. Come discover how fitness can feel good, be safe, and deliver results, all without jogging up and down! If you are new to Nia, or have participated in Basic Nia through Oasis, you are encouraged to register for this welcoming class. You will be able to see your friends, and make new ones. Please bring an exercise mat for stretching and an end of class cool down. This class will be presented via Zoom only. You must have a computer/phone/tablet with a video and audio capability.
