Lyndon Johnson took over the Presidency after JFK was assassinated in November of 1963. Left undone during JFK’s time was the passing of civil rights legislation. Come hear Monroe Community College professor of History, Mark Sample, when he will tell the stories and events surrounding LBJ’s fight to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
