Description
Hindenburg, Titanic, and others. As human beings, we have a fascination with disasters. Why are these disaster stories so compelling? Are we simply fascinated by the misfortune of others? The bigger the disaster, the greater our thrill? Or is it our drive to understand past disasters so they don’t happen again? Perhaps it is all the above. But the other reason we love these tales is the deep examination of moral choices they often offer. As human beings, we can’t help but wonder how we’d face the challenges of a disaster.
