Description

From his dark and turbulent early images to the late paintings that inspired the Cubists, Cézanne produced distinctive works. Impressionism provided him with new techniques and the on-going ambition to “realize his sensations.” This three-session class will look at questions of interpreting his early work, stylistic changes as he engaged with his Impressionist colleagues, and ways in which his late paintings can be understood.  Register for this class if you will only be viewing via Zoom. You must have a computer/tablet/phone with audio and video capability.
