Description
They’re well educated. Loads of experience. We’ve surrounded them with the Best and the Brightest. How, in retrospect, could our presidents have made such bad decisions. Hold it, forget the retrospect, these were bad decisions at the time they were made. We’re not talking about mistakes, we’re talking about full blown blunders. In this class, we’ll take a look at some of the more consequential failures (e,g, Bay of Pigs, Vietnam, Iraq to name a few) to see if there is some commonality to the process that led to their approval and implementation (and continuation). Please note – these are the instructors opinions. You may disagree and/or you may have your own examples of bad presidential decisions. Let’s hear about them.
