Description
Collage derives its name from the French verb coller, to glue. The work of art is made by gluing things to the surface. Pasting, ripping, and cutting fragments of paper or any other materials of choice can be quite intoxicating for the artist. You will create in several styles. We will discuss composition, rules and freedoms and create beautiful farmable work. Class is given via Zoom. You must have a computer/tablet/phone with audio and video capability. Materials Needed: tissue paper, magazines, prints of photographs (Not the original photograph), a wide paintbrush, mat medium (or elmer’s glue, or mod podge), canvas board or mat board, acrylic paints, paint brushes, a pencil, scissors, a ruler
