Using artistry, humor, and in-depth knowledge of current events, cartoonists craft commentary that captures the essence of controversial issues and encourages us to think further. Let’s look at how cartoonists carry out their passion for creating change, as they take on issues of current social and political concern, both nationally and internationally – the Covid pandemic, the war in Ukraine, gun violence, Roe v. Wade, etc. We’ll talk about recent developments in the cartooning profession and the challenges cartoonists are now facing.
